Big play:

Holland to win gold in the men's pursuit event @ 1.95 (Betfair).

We've qualified easily yesterday and saw our biggest rival (USA) fail to qualify, they lost to Italy.

The semi's today:

Holland - Italy
Canada - Norway

Kramer, Wennemars and Verheijen will start the semi-final, which is our strongest line-up. Kramer in terrific form, winning the silver medal on the 5000m (and Verheijen was 4th). It's an excellent combination of 1 world-class sprinter (Wennemars) and 2 world-class longdistants riders. I reckon it would be a huge surprise if we fail to win gold here.

The semi's start in 2 hours, the final will be 1 hour later.

The win against Italy was never in doubt, untill Kramer fell down. Italy went on to the final and beat Canada with ease.
