Hmm, I suspected as much, like last year. That sort of makes me glad I am missing it, actually. Jason Goodall has this habit of mechanically regurgitating the details of every point straight after it's happened: "Yes, that was an excellent cross-court backhand drawing the error from Ferrero...", etc. Not to mention drama king Simon, of course.
And while I'm busy griping about the commentators I see that Fatty Nalby has the first break, 4-2.

ROGER FEDERER: Yeah, I remember this one time when I went on a vacation on the Maldives. That was in the year 2001, I think. I went to this spa. I went to walk around with my girlfriend. I walk in, and we want to book a spa. This guy goes, "AHH, I remember you. You beat Sampras. I saw you on TV." That was like, really, how can you remember me? This guy has probably never been off his island and still knows me. I was a little bit shocked. Then I went to play tennis with him because he was actually the tennis teacher. It was nice.
Q. Were you naked at the time in the spa?
ROGER FEDERER: No. It was at the front desk. I didn't walk in naked.

Re: Monday Scores
But Houston crowds are awful. They trapse in late to everything or anything. That's why I took to sitting way down front in movies. The many late comers aren't as noticible.

Re: Monday Scores
I know star..... I'm from New England and I'm compulsively punctual and it drives me nuts that people saunter into things late here.

Re: Re: Re: Monday Scores
He may have improved his serve, but his stats still make for horrible reading - that's now 1 ace to 3 double faults, and he's only served three and a half games.

"A very sleepy start from Ferrero." Must have been taking hints from Federer.
