yeah v Karol Kucera, think he was up a break in 5th too

but he was no where near Masters Cup in 1999, he went into some awful slump after Wimbledon that year (some said coz his upcoming marriage)
remember somone said he was ordering flowers for the wedding the day he was to play 1st round US Open v Canas - match he lost in straight sets

Stefanki made him take pace off the serve so his 1st serve % went higher and it worked, 2002 was the year he made it to #4 for the first time, problem was he injured his shoulder v Srichaphan in Davis Cup and never really got a healthy shoulder again until that title in Paris then whole of 2004 - which went on to be his best ever year

I always keep going back to that video just to see the cheesy grin at 3:16 when he turns his head, pure Henman.

That tournament was something else, unshaven gentleman Tim rocking his way to the Roland Garros title...until he choked. He would've had a massive chance against Gaudio. Still makes me feel bad thinking about that Coria match.

Actually that was his last win. His last match was a loss in the next round to Feliciano Lopez.
