Re: Igoryok's next tournaments...The 2oo6 Thread
Grrrrr... I'm mad!
Who is Korolev??? Igor played in the first tie, he has to be in the team in the final! While Zhenya... Plus Korolev isn't very impressive on carpet (I've seen ). Ok, Igor's after injury, but he would play in the doubles for example much better than Korolev x
Oh, Tarpi

Re: Igoryok's next tournaments...The 2oo6 Thread
and I've already got my DC tickets
Igor played only two matches after his comeback maybe Tarpishev thinks it's too risky to let him play in final tie? that's why he named Zhenya

Re: Igoryok's next tournaments...The 2oo6 Thread
Well, I've got the tickets too
Zhenya has played not many more matches on indoor carpet though
Anyway,I 'm sure neither Zhenya, nor Igor (IF...) would play until first 3 players are OK, so what's the matter
It's unfair!

Re: Igoryok's next tournaments...The 2oo6 Thread
well, Tarpy is well-known as sly fox and he said he would announce his definitive choice for an hour before draw. Till that we could only guess who will play and who won't
btw do you know for what reason did Igor withdraw from challengers?

It was written due to his injury, though I don't know why exactly
I think, I should ask him at the DC

Re: Igoryok's next tournaments...The 2oo6 Thread
oh come on masha u're against every russian player except igor. igor barely played,it's normal not to get in i guess he didn't expect to get in eighter
i'm happy it's zhenya, even that i don't think he'll get to play anyway only if russia will win after 3 or 4 matches

No, I don't! I'm only against Davydenko and Tursunov
BTW Now we don't know who is the 5th player officialy, 'cos Tarp didn't announce the substitute
And neither Zhenya, nor Igor (and no other player if he's only a a substitute) can play the dead rubber. Only players who are in the team officially. SO for real, it doesn't matter who will be the 5th
P.S. I like Zhenya, he's very sweet boy

Yeah, Misha... The main question is in his form. If he's OK I don't care about the substitute at all
No, there's much more complicated about my relationships with Tursunov, and his win over Andy just was the last drop I didn't like him after I'd seen him first live in Moscow in the semifinal against Misha. And I just don't like him more and more since that moment... I don't like his human qualities, that's the problem
As for the USA team, I would see the final on TV anyway
But to see Igor and Pascal live is better than to see Andy and Bryans on TV

Oops! The quarters I mean of course!
No, I will never thank Dima! For nothing!
I don't like his sense of humour, he's Russian and his humour must be Russian, not American! I bet, if Andy jokes or write smth like Tursunov does everybody would say "What a dork" and so on
