I was so excited for both Ferru and Rafa! Ferru capped an amazing season with an amazing come from behind victory and ended the year ranked number five. Rafa overcame sadness and fatigue with those two amazing victories. So sad they won't be playing next year.
Apparently David's going to play the SF against the United States. Rafa won't be playing of course so I don't know how it will turn out...
I'm a little gutted because I'm going away precisely on the three days of the Davis Cup, so I probably won't be able to watch any of the matches Sure, I'll be having fun with my friends, but had I noticed before that the dates were the same... I might have asked for another date. Now I would seriously sound crazy if I asked them to change the dates because I want to watch the Davis Cup SF, so... I hope they win the SF and I can watch the final!
Damn! I'll be away from Friday morning to Sunday afternoon... I was hoping Ferrer/Isner would be last and I would be able to see it. I'll be back home at 2.45pm so I only have to hope the match will last at least that long
Is it wrong to hope Nadal won't recover in time for the final?
LOL! It's nice to see Ferru as the leader isn't it?
Nah, I do hope Rafa will be able to play, because then, I don't see how they could lose the final. Without Rafa, there's a lot of pressure on Ferru. Almagro did great against Isner but I'm not sure he's always reliable.
no one updated this thread? Well I guess for the time being it's a good idea too.David just beat Berdych in the fourth rubber for DC. He's remained unbeatable this year for Davis Cup. I love him so much. Now if Nico wins how awesome would that be?!
I'm so happy and yet so sad. I was stuck with an invitation at a party for lunch, I had accepted without thinking and did not want to tell them "I'm not coming after all, I want to watch some tennis"... I was hoping this would be a good match and would last far longer, but Ferru played too quickly, and I saw only a couple of points in streaming. So disappointed :'(
