Re: Main Draw discussion in here
Henman? I'm liking the fact that many of his worst enemy players have drawn others...there may be some hope of a R2 showing....I guess Tursunov still hasn't been named!
Murray has to serve well otherwise Chela will take him. But it is winnable.

Re: Main Draw discussion in here
I'm with you Jez, so far so good for Tiger.
At least he hasn't drawn a Fed/Hewitt type player in R1.

Re: Main Draw discussion in here
Hewitt-Federer semi looms
January 13, 2006
LLEYTON Hewitt was today placed in the same half of the Australian Open draw as top seed and world No.1 Roger Federer.
Hewitt will likely have to beat the Swiss in the semi-finals to claim a first Australian Open crown on January 29.
Hewitt, who lost last year's final at Melbourne Park to Marat Safin, is scheduled to play No.6 Guillermo Coria from Argentina in the quarter-finals.
If the seedings hold up, the other men's semi-final will pit American Andy Roddick against David Nalbandian from Argentina.
Federer begins the pursuit of a second Australian title against wildcard Denis Istomin from Uzbekistan.
Hewitt will play Czech Republic's Robin Vik in the first round.
Women's top seed Lindsay Davenport has been drawn to play Russian No.4 seed Maria Sharapova in the semi-finals.
The other semi-final is scheduled to pit Belgium's second seed, Kim Clijsters, against France's Amelie Mauresmo.
Davenport faces Australia wildcard Casey Dellacqua in the first round and has been drawn in the same half as Venus Williams and Justine Henin-Hardenne.

Champion and 13th seed Serena Williams will meet Li Na from China.
Former world No.1 Martina Hingis, making a return to the game after foot and ankle injuries forced her to retire in 2002, has been granted a wildcard for the year's first grand slam and is drawn against 30th seed Vera Zvonareva from Russia.
