Kolya plays last (first in the evening session) tomorrow on MCA Court. Starts at 7.30 pm Melbourne time, so it's 11.30 Moscow time and God help NTV+ if they don't show the match

He was down two sets to love, a break down in 3rd, 4th and 5th.

Our mission accomplished:all points defended. Kolya also took revenge for Igor

HOLY MOTHER OF GOD!!!!!!!! I knew I did the right thing when I got up at 4.30 am today!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I am speechless, just when EVERYONE thought it was over....

Has anyone watched the match? I loved the on-court after match interview, he was so sweet and soooooo funny!!!!!!!

This is about 90% accurate:

Q. Congrats Nikolay. You sure surprised everyone today, being 2 sets down you managed to come back and win the match. How do you feel?

K. (silence for about 30 seconds, then a huge grin appears) Happy!!! (laughs) Yeah, it was hard. I was 2 sets down and then I lost my serve at 3 all in the third and I thought that was it. But I said to myself that I cant do anything but fight for every ball and try to play my best...so I did and I won the third and then the fourth and the fifth...easy! (laughs like mad)

Q. Last match was really hard for you because all the audience was on your opponent's side since you played an Australian but today I think you won over some supporters...

K. Yeah, the audience is great and I am thankful to everyone. It's not the first time I play in Australia so I like to play here, people are great.

Q. Well it doesn't get any easier for you because in the quarterfinals you will meet either Tommy Haas or Roger Federer...

K. Yeah (smiles). Well if I lose the first two sets I'll try my best to win the third: if I manage - I'll fight, if not - tough luck for me... (laughs)

Q. One person you should really thank today is your brother because we were watching him and trust us, he was really suffering there for you today...

K. (waving at Eduard smiling) Thank you.

Have you rememebred what you say when he was down a break in third? that Koly is done, but he wooooooooooooooooooon!!!! That's why i try to be optimistic always when seeing tennis

Same here!!!!! when Hrbaty took Kolya's serve in the third set, I had a gut feeling it wasn't over..I was soooooo pissed off because aparently everyone else thought it was!!! NTV+ Sport and Eurosport switched to Myskina at that point and if not for RTR-Sport we wouldnt have seen that triumph!!!!!!!!!!
