anyone knows if this tournament is broadcast on tv, and what canal? i already know that eurosport only covers the woman tournament.

It will be on Channel 7 in Oz. Starts today, 11.00am I think (we're on daylight saving time here, so check, might be 12.00 for you ...) And I think they will only televise women today (they only televise main court action), because in arvo. Ch. 7 crosses to Adelaide for the final there (Malisse/Serra match)

Booo, brickbats & raspberries to Channel 7. As expected, they left the live TV coverage at 5:00pm due to 'program committments' ... blah, pooh, it went to a repeat of 'MASH' - this in the middle of the Moya/Grosjean match!!! With Moya being my fav. player I was 'NOT HAPPY JAN"!

But at least Moya won, but such a marathon - 5-7, 7-5, 7-6 (TB) ... took 2 hrs. 33 mins., so wouldn't have got final set anyway, Channel 7 had news committments as well.
I think from Thursday Jan 12 onwards they show some evening matches as well as day
