Someone posted this about Roger on WTA World. It was in a thread about women possibly getting more coverage on TV because Agassi and possibly Safin and Nadal are out of the tournament.

Federer and Sharapova matches are usually boring to me. I can't find an interview where he never boasts and overrates himself. He's uncreative and only his long arms and dexterity save him from losing bad matches. Federer's slices repeatedly and when he plays bad tennis, opponents are still so terrible that they give him the match. Even Nalbandian has greater volleys and backhands. He can't win much because of weak serves.

I think the whole premise is stupid because ESPN, at least, shows plenty of women's matches. I've seen plenty of Lindsay/Venus/Serena/Maria beatdowns when there's probably a more competitive mens match going on. I think they're getting better with their coverage, and according to the latest Tennis magazine the commentators have been telling the networks for a long time that fans would rather watch a good match than a Serena beatdown any day. I'm sure ESPN will show plenty of Roger, they usually do.
