I kind of like the champion's race-it counts this year only.
Red clay is like mud...one thing I actually agree
with Hewitt about. If countries like the U.S. want
their players to play as well, they need red clay
courts. That's something fans, whose
faves have clay experience, rely on to blame the
inexperienced players for not doing well on.
It's not a shock to see people dismayed that Andy wins
on all surfaces with regularity within a year.
Last year, nobody believed he'd bother anyone's
#1 rank, right? Without playing 2002 Masters Cup &
taking breaks after Aus Open, Davis Cup...he's
still #2.

I see it the way it is, not as a biased fan.
