2001 was Andy's first full year as a pro. But he did star playing some pro tournaments in 2000.

He's said it himself...sometimes he wanted to leave the court and give up because he was out of shape or had
made careless errors.
Other times, he was in the zone, winning 2 or 3 straight tourneys.

He's not just good on hardcourt. I've seen matches in Houston clay where he made great lobs and drop shots.
Last year, he said, "I'm no good on grass." Clearly, he's wrong.
Better training, confidence and fitness
are important for 2004.
Other players have to be in great shape to
stay at the top...Andy's not the only one fighting hard.
