Re: Fernando's 2006 schedule
I like this schedule, I prefer that Feña plays in hard court than in the latin clay
Good luck

Re: Fernando's 2006 schedule
De nada GonzoFan But gracias to you for posting it.
I like this schedule too so far - I know that he's a great clay court player, but I like that he's playing the hardcourts because he has such power. And he's going to have so much fun in Las Vegas!

Re: Fernando's 2006 schedule
I like it too that he is playing in the first part of the year more hardcourt than clay
I don't know if he'll have too much time to have fun but I'm happy he's going to Las Vegas on February because remember that he was planning to go on vacations there but I think he couldn't cause he went to Shangai

Re: Fernando's 2006 schedule
I hope that if I attend to a tournament, he won't be in the final the day before This year, each time I attended, he was in the final the day before, so it was complicated for me to see him (I missed him Monaco this year cause he was in final in Valencia) but most of the time, I saw him.
Personnally, I don't think he'll play the clay court tournaments after Wimbledon. He'll go directly to the US, or he'll try to defend Amersfoort and leave to the US or Chile to have a rest

I think that he'll make time to have a bit of fun - the guys usually go out at night if they aren't playing at night or have a very early morning match the next day. And he should - like you said he wasn't able to go to LV on vacation because of Shanghai.

I think that he'll go directly to the US too after Wimbledon - I may be wrong on this, but I thought that this year he said that he wished that he had played the US tournaments. Does any one remember exactly what he said?

I think he said he won't play in Europe in 2006 after Wimbledon and go directly to the US

I found it I have it in my hands now and it's an article from La Tercera (July 6)
Fernando said: "I never thought I would get that far in Wimbledon and the ideal thing to do it would have been to jump inmediately to North America and not return to play in clay but I'm already confirmed for those tournaments and wherever I go I go to win"
I'll see if I find something more ...

I guess that for 2006 Feña will think better his schedule ... I like the idea that he skip the clay after Wimby

That's it, GonzoFan! Gracias for finding it.
I'm excited that he's coming to the US! I don't mean to be greedy...lol!...but it seems like my chicos are in the European countries all the time and rarely here in the US. And I know that I shouldn't complain because we have more tournaments than most countries. Now if I can get my Nico here more to the US, I'll be doubly happy.
