Re: Australian Open 2006
Can't wait for the Aussie Open.
I just have this feeling that over the course of his career this could be his best slam even though we know he has the capacity to do well at all the slams.
Under two months to go.....

Re: Australian Open 2006
Right now, it's his worst results-wise.

Just because he hasn't made a SF yet? We all remember he was only 2 points from doing that this year. I see your reasoning Sigma.
He's also been more consistent there with 3 QF in a row. The surface suits him very well in Melbourne with it's medium pace and higher bounce. It's just my opinion.
Anyway only time will tell.

Re: Australian Open 2006
Damn, this is early - but I understand Peggy's superstition - maybe we should leave it to her to start these threads for ALL tourneys?
Of course I also hope he will do outrageously well in Melbourne but I'm not starting with the Vamoses yet - I'll keep that till January.

Re: Australian Open 2006
No...we can get started right now, while we're in our 40-day, 40-night post-Shanghai celebration.
