Rogi wish list for 2006
Now that Rogi's 2005 has ended, what are your wishes for Rogi in 2006?

Re: Rogi wish list for 2006
Great start, Mrs. B. I think if Rogi were to win just one title in 2006, that w be it for me!
[maybe Rogi s improve his espanol... he could practise w Rafa and pick up a few tips at the same time -- "Rafa, how do you say 'rally' en espanol?" ]

Re: Rogi wish list for 2006
I'd like to say FO - but its my least fav tournament tho realise it would be a fantastic achievement for him to win it - or even reach the final in 2006. As I'm a traditionalist at heart, I'm very happy to know that he puts Wimbledon at the top of his list - and not just for 2006 but for years to come. Does anyone think he could beat Borg's straight 5 titles? I certainly really hope for that! But my biggest wish is that he staves off Rafa (and anyone else) and ends 2006 still World No 1!!

1. Health
2. AO. A good start will lift off the pressure.

Re: Rogi wish list for 2006
First and foremost, being healthy and fit for the whole year.
After that, win FO, defend Wimbledon, 8-9 titles, that's all I am asking for.

Re: Rogi wish list for 2006
From the intervew after TMC final
.....think about it, but in terms of looking at 2006, do you have personal objectives at the moment that you'd like to share with us?
ROGER FEDERER: You mean my goals?
Q. Yes.
ROGER FEDERER: I mean, it's pretty much the same. Obviously, I think as long as I am No. 1, you know, No. 1 is going to be a huge priority for me, try to maintain that ranking. Of course, you know, it always starts with the Aussie Open, and that always gives you sort of a clue how the season's going to be. The last two Australian Opens were both fantastic. After that, I continued to play well. Wimbledon, will, my whole career, stay a big, huge goal. Maybe hopefully I can give myself another chance at the French Open, you know.
It's first time that Rogi talks about RG as a kind of his goal, isn't it?

Re: Rogi wish list for 2006
1) remain #1
2) More slams titles, specially in that order: RG, Wimby, USO, AO
3) Basel and TMC

Re: Rogi wish list for 2006
Roland Garros for sure, it will secure him a top place in history, but the true achievement I'm dreaming about is the dubble RG-Wimby in the same year... in a way, I'm happy he lost an important final, it's gonna regenerate his motivation to start a great season...

Re: Rogi wish list for 2006
Apart from all the usual goals, like wimbledon, No.1, or even RG, and above all health, I want him to win TMC in Shanghai.
Shanghai owes him one this time.
