Default Juan Monte-Carlos Back on Euro Clay

Coming into his first European event of the year with a 14-1 clay record. Hope he can keep it up.

With Del Potro and Soderling out (and Murray's WC ) need one more withdrawal for a top 8 seeding.

Draw is released Saturday at noon CET.

Great thread title.

Gosh, gotta say it didn't seem likely Juanqui would ever be a top 8 seed at a Masters Series again. I hope he is next week, or if not that he at least gets a good draw. He certainly deserves one!

Not a bad draw first two rounds. Still can't believe Ljubicic stole his top 8 seeding (winning Miami out of nowhere) after stealing his WC last year.

Shame he's in Rafa's section but I'd settle for a QF appearance. It's always dangerous playing a confident qualifier first round.

He shouldn't be that confident, he just beat Balleret in 3 sets, and got completely killed by GGL in Casablanca.

JCF should smash him
