If Gaston makes it, I'll consider seriously restoring cable television to my TV..this time, maybe satellite.

Santoro is a tough player and he gets a big crowd to cheer for him. Just hope Gaston will this match first.

Re: Last Tango in Paris Thread all the Best for trying to make Shanghai
Yes, Santoro is a tough player. And yes, he'll have the whole crowd, apart from Eléa and Lovely, supporting him. But I think Gaston can beat him. I've seen Fab play yesterday, and he showed signs that he's really exhausted. I mean I can say I do know him pretty well and some of the errors he made yesterday are typical. Anyway, I'm gonna miss that match on tv and it's probably better for me, 'cause whatever the outcome, one of my faves will be kicked out of Berçy...

Re: Last Tango in Paris Thread all the Best for trying to make Shanghai
These two have never played and I have a bad feeling that Gaston is going to the crap annoyed out of him by Santoro and self destruct Safin style, just hope I am wrong.

Re: Last Tango in Paris Thread all the Best for trying to make Shanghai
Sure that Fabrice has a kind of game that can make every player crazy. And Gaston will need a lot of self control to resist to that. The confrontation will be interesting for sure. But I wanna avoid seeing it live. That's why I've decided to record that match, to watch it later, relaxed...

Re: Last Tango in Paris Thread all the Best for trying to make Shanghai
Funny they've never played each other before!
I don't expect Gastón to win, really, but I'd like to see him hungering for a fight! Remember that great avatar (was it Reiko's?) where a kitten is looking in a mirror and sees a lion?
That's what I would like to see today!!!
MERDE GASTON!!!!

It was Alma's if I remember well. And it said "what matters most is how you see yourself".
Vale! You, swearing in French! I'm happily surprised...

Re: Last Tango in Paris Thread all the Best for trying to make Shanghai
Gaston could have always asked Corretja how to play Santoro, he had the answers and maybe a bit of contra tennis is needed, but I have to say he can make a very good alternate for Shanghai.
