Quite a good match vs Murray, he lost 63 76(4) but he played quite well. He ups his level so much when he plays on grass.

Llodra was injured and withdrew from both singles & doubles.

Anyway, he seems more or less back on track, he qualified for s'Hertogenbosch with a good win over Kubot in 3 sets. He plays Berankis on R1, and if he wins, Kuznetsov on R2, so he has a decent chance for making the QF's.

He's on S'Hertogenbosch QF's [ after beating Berankis & Kuznetsov in two sets], and plays Donskoy on the quarterfinals, so he defintely has a chance to reach the semifinals.

On the ATP site http://www.atpworldtour.com/News/Ten...nka-Mahut.aspx

and in L'equipe. He said the rain delay at 3-3 help him a lot to be relax without that he would not have win.

Quote:

Ça me parle, tout ça. »

So happy for Nico , this is unbelievable, he hadn't won a match before Queens this year and it seemed like he wouldn't be a Top-100 again, and look at him, a title beating a Top-10. I hope he can finally do well in Wimbledon , this year he should reach R3 ( after this beating Hajek and Robredo shouldn't be that difficult, but he has to stay focused) and then a match vs Murray on CC

Just a question, is Escude coaching him now?

So happy to see him finally get his first ATP title, made even sweeter by the problems he had in the last year and of course the RG disappointment. Couldn't happen for a nicer guy. I really hope that he could make it to the potential R3 vs Murray, would be great to see him grace the Wimbledon Centre Court.

Re. Escude, yes I think he is sharing the coaching with Ascione. He was certainly there at all his Queens matches/practises, so I think it's quite a permanent arrangement. I really like this addition to his team.
