Re: Teimuraz GABASHVILI aka "GABA"
Timur played well during the DC dead rubber today. Is it his first Davis Cup match? I know it's not his first appearance, but I am not sure if he actually had a chance to play in the past.

Re: Teimuraz GABASHVILI aka "GABA"
I saw his match against Tsonga. He really impressed me, but Tsonga was just to good for him
He seems quite promising though

Re: Teimuraz GABASHVILI aka "GABA"
I took some pics of Gaba in Madrid against Ljubo:
http://picasaweb.google.de/Trucsdetennis/TennisMadrid
He took a medical time-out before Ljubo served for the match. Not much to say otherwise, I only saw the last games and he just didn't stand a chance.

Re: Teimuraz GABASHVILI aka "GABA"
Gaba has listened to my plea and won 2 matches this week in San Remo, Italy:
R1 6-2 6-4 over De Chaunac
R2 6-3 6-1 over Oswald
He plays tomorrow vs. Recouderc in the QF. Good luck Gaba!

Re: Teimuraz GABASHVILI aka "GABA"
Gaba won 6-2 4-6 6-1 over Recouderc in the QF and plays Gaudio tomorrow in the SF. That is going to be a fun match, and I love both, so may the best man win, good luck Gaba!

Re: Teimuraz GABASHVILI aka "GABA"
Here is the main draw for next weeks event in Biella:
http://www.atpworldtour.com/posting/2010/6125/mds.pdf
Gaba has a tough draw, Junqueira is hard for a R1 match. Both Sergeyev and Ignatik are hard court players, but Starace likely in the QF will be a very hard battle.
Wish the best for Gaba next week in Biella, hopefully he can make a deep run!
