Re: The 2007 " Everything about Igor " thread
Igor has a great chance against Rafa. He's beaten him before no reason why he can't do it again.
Vamos Igor!

Re: The 2007 " Everything about Igor " thread
Hi everybody,
It's been a VERY long time since I last posted here...
Just wanted to say GOOD Luck Igor against Nadal!
Oh I know this is unforgivable but I just posted some of my pictures from the 2006 Monte Carlo Masters on my blog... I'm so sorry for being so late guys (but then again he practically stopped playing after Monaco due to his knee so...).
Anyway hope you like them

The mentality of Russians, it's very strange. Actually, very strong on the court. We know what we want and we fight.
I'm not like American. I have my own picture on wall.
Marat Safin
GO IGOR !!!!

Re: The 2007 " Everything about Igor " thread
I just got over the match result against nadal... what a shame, he really could have won!
Ok in the 1st it was looking really bad but then he came back and the match was great!
I'm sure he'll do better next time!
It was a good fight anyway

Thank you very much, your pics are just wonderful!
May I post it on his Russian forum or you will do it by yourself?
As for the match.. It was so close so it's even more sad than if he lost 1:6, 2:6 like many people here predicted
But anyway the match was great, 2d and 3d sets were awesome! I'm sure for better luck to Igor next time

Re: The 2007 " Everything about Igor " thread
I can really imagine, so close But it shows that Igor is right up there with the top now! Hopefully we can expect some good results in his next tourneys!

Re: The 2007 " Everything about Igor " thread
It was a fight and very very close. Igor gave Rafa a run for his money.

Re: The 2007 " Everything about Igor " thread
Igor seems to be very determined to play this season and play very well.
I'm sure we'll see a lot of great wins from him in the near future.

Re: The 2007 " Everything about Igor " thread
2007 Comeback Player of the Year - Igor Andreev
The 24-year-old Russian came back from a left knee injury in 2006 to finish in the Top 50 for the third time in four years. He underwent left knee surgery on Apr. 28, 2006, missing nearly six months of action. He finished No. 90 in '06 before improving to No. 33 last year. His ranking dipped to a season low No. 235 on Apr. 16, 2007. He helped his native Russia into the Davis Cup final for the second straight year and compiled a 36-27 match record. He advanced to the semifinals in Gstaad and the quarterfinals in seven other tournaments, including Roland Garros where he defeated No. 3 Roddick in the first round. He clinched Davis Cup ties against Chile and Germany by winning the fifth rubbers.
