ahh, again in Geneva????

(si)

Sorry, I can feel you are indeed biased. Good for you, because you are living in that region, but Swiss Tennis actually promised that next time it was going to be held in the German part of Switzerland,, but the problems are not worse audiences, worse place to play tennis,, but simply, the halls are occupied for maybe other sporting events like ice hockeys. And also those possible halls didn't have big enough capacity. But, Palexpo Geneva isn't the biggest hall, St. Jakobshalle in Basel has 9000 or more seats and Zurich's Hallenstadion has even more, I think. It is just a bad timing.

If DC was held in St. Gallen for 3 or 4 times in a row, I would feel really sorry for the fans from your region...

Bern would have been ideal, in between the Röstigraben, and its the capital...

unfortunately the Allmend stadium does not have enough sitting places with its 16,000 capacity, and yes, there is still ice hockey. i can imagine the fans going bunkers if their sport is moved somewhere...

I was kidding Stevens, of course it's a shame that DC happens in the French part for the 4th time in a row...

But on the other hand you already have plenty of other sport highlights such as ice hockey or soccer in the eastern part of Switzerland. In "Welschland" we have to stick to our TV if we want to watch some sports...

OK, I get it now.. But, if you say "in the French part" it is 5 or 6 times in a row.

Talking about the national teams, I am not so sure about ice hockey matches, but soccer matches are most of the time in Basel, Bern, and Geneva, in my opinion. Those are the soccer stadiums with huge capacity Switzerland got, anyway...

Lüthi has selected Wawrinka, Chiudinelli, Bastl, and Allegro for the coming DC match up against Spain. He says he is too 100% sure that Roger won't change his mind.

Februar) berufen.

(tri)

It is not very fair for bohli who had a much better ending season and start of the year than bastl! Since it is in geneva I hope he will at least be a sparring partner!!!

It is official, they will be no 5th player, it would apparently be too complicated for the management of the team... how ridiculous!!!

I guess Lopez doesn't want to play Chiudi

But good news that Robredo won't play, Ferrer is a really good player as well tho I see possibilities against this team tho, even while it will be very hard

Stephane Bohli replaces Bastl. Apparently George doesn't feel fit enough to be able to contribute for the team...
