Re: Roger Rasheed to become Andy Murray's new coach
Karol Hingis would have been a more interesting choice.

Not to mention from what I've seen it's pretty much the only site carrying the story, meaning it's more likely it's just a typical case of a journalist putting two and two together to come up with something, rather than there being much truth to it I think.

Same here. I was surprised to find out about that news tbh, thought it was worth posting nonetheless. Besides, it's only been a couple days since he split with Gael and I doubt they'd have been able to come up with anything official in a such short timespan and with DC matches still in progress. Whatsmore, this is what Rasheed tweeted on Saturday :

Doesn't sound like he's found himself a new job just yet.
Either ways I hope it's true. I'm really curious to see how things can pan out between these two.

There's still no other source on this...I'm waiting until it's confirmed across more outlets.

Rasheed passes one of the main criteria to be a Murray coach - be able to sit and take alot of pointless abuse as he did with Hewitt

Hopefully Rasheed is fond of video games because he'll have to spend a lot of time in front of the TV with Andy.

Andy doesn't give his coaches abuse that much. He gives himself abuse. He doesn't like missing easy shots or screwing up.

Why is this relevant? And it's not funny. Seems the only thing you try and do around here is be funny. You, of course, fail quite badly. Rasheed should be a good coach, in my opinion. We will see if this is true.

Wouldn't be at all surprised. Watching his incessant default 10 feet behind the baseline position regardless of the situation, is wearing enough to watch never mind to coach.

So Luis Lobo is no longer Nalbandian's coach (from the end of this month) source, and there is quite a lot of talk on twitter about Lobo maybe working with Rafa.
Probably just rumours.

And Uncle Toni is now coaching Federer.

Eurosport.fr stick to their version :
http://www.eurosport.fr/tennis/atp-t...39/story.shtml
They say Rasheed is with Murray. Looks like a done deal according to what is said in this article.
It's also said Monfils is the one who took the decision to part ways. Some tension after wimbledon he says but they remain friends.
Patrick Chamagne, Monfils' new coach says he's got more potential than Nadal.

Re: Changing of the Guard: Player/Coach Changes (Rasheed working with Murray allegedl
Blaž Kavčic and Voinea have stopped working together. Disappointing as he was able to get Kavčic into the top 100 winning matches on tour.
