I second your prayers Felipe I want him to make it to Shanghai so badly but it will be very tough especially when he always gets bad draws

The draw will be made Sunday at noon Madrid time.

The double draw is available :
http://www.tennis-masters-madrid.com/draws/16/MDD.pdf

Gonzalez/Davydenko vs Black/Ullyett (2)
Very lucky in this first round, against the seed number 2
I hope Fernando will be luckier in his first round. The draw will be available very soon. I'm nervous !!

PS : I have a documentary about Chile on TV

well the singles draw is up, i would say its pretty tough too. His second round is eigther Paul Henri Matheiu or Fenando Verdasco. Then third round is most likely Guillermo Coria. Quaterfinals might be Ivan Ljubicic. Well ummm, the draw is not good again for the 1,000,000,000 time I think. I hope GONZO can at least Verdasco after his recent loss in New Haven. Best of luck GONZO!!

Yes, bad draw, another time

If he could face Mathieu, maybe we could have the match on tv , for once, I'll be patriotic lol

im a little more positive....jaja, i hope Feña can reach to QFs , because in carpet, feña can beat coria. Verdasco and Mathieu ar not so dificult, Feña is playing very good, and serving really good to.

You are right to be positive
He seems to be in a good shape, even Horacio said he was in a good shape, so it's possible !! Mathieu is not at his best, so if he faces him, I think he can pass. Regarding Verdasco, he's an interesting player, but he will be in front of his audience, so he can be very motivated !! Don't know when Fernando will play, maybe tuesday or wednesday. Before, the double match will be a good practrice.

Vamos, Fena!

No Rogi, so I'm not as interested in this great TMS... but it w be nice if Fena can have a good run here, if not go all the way!

[so many players I do NOT want to win this title... ]

Hey, this is where I first SAW Fena at a tournament, altho it was a nano-second's worth as his Chileno fans enthusiastically pushed me out of his way...

Not the draw I'd hope for but of course Fernando can handle it. I agree with the postitive posters lol! Fena played well last week and there is every reason to believe he will be even better this week!

Thumbs up Re: ~ Vamos Feña en Madrid ~

Just feel mad about this draw. my Feña and my Paulo are just too close in the draw. But I'd rather Feña to face Paulo than Verdasco.Paulo is not that tough for him and I probably could see Paulo's match once more. I can't bear it.Talk other rounds when he beat Paulo.

Sorry, I'll be off the topic. I thought of you Radical I know someone who has been to the Stockholm Open last week, she doesn't like the French players, but she met Paulo and she told me that he has been very nice to her, cause she asked him where Thomas E. was practricing.. Well, he and his coach have been nice to her, she was surprised. And, I may have the match Paulo/Verdasco tonight on tv, cause it will start at 8.00 pm. I'll think of you

Tomorrow evening, the last match of the day :

Fernando GONZALEZ (CHI) vs Fernando VERDASCO (ESP)
Sorry Radical

French commentators are sad, as you can imagine.

Congrats to Verdasco who played well, hope he won't play well tomorrow

YES, I'll have the match on tv !!!!

HEAD TO HEAD
1-1

The last meeting was in New Haven, this year and Verdasco won, it was a tough match
