I think Ivo should do well, Hewitt just crushed Sela 6-2, 6-2. Ivo certainly did pretty well breaking Baker 5 times last match and Baker is known as a strong server, so I think he should get some break today against Sela. From what I can see the AO surface isn't the greatest for big servers so I wouldn't be surprised to see Ivo broken a few times too though. I don't think we'll see a lot of tie-breakers in this match. It should be a good match and I expect Ivo to pull through. Next round will be really tough if its Youzhny. If Ivo were to make it to the 4th round he'll become #1 ranked Croatian player.

YYYYYYYYYEEEEEEEEEEEEEESSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSS! Ivo's looking good. I didn't follow the whole match but assuming he wasn't broken then he had 5 breaks again. If he was broken then he had even more. From what I saw (followed on the scoreboard) Ivo saved a bucketload of break points and came through in the clutch except in the tie breaker. It's really pissing me off that they keep putting him on courts where they don't even post the match statistics. It's a lot harder to have a sense of what's going on. Hopefully next match will be on a show court and maybe it will even be broadcast online. Next match should be very tough but winnable. I'd rather face Seppi than Youzhny. Right now they're tied at 1 set each.
OK now they've posted the match statistics for Ivo's match. They are definitely wrong on break points. They say that neither player saved break point in the 1st set and both of them saved a bunch in the final few games of that set.

He had only 15 aces in 4 sets, that proves the surface is slow. It's very good though that he can break serve so many times.
Hard match against Youzhny, but as you said, winnable

Ivo played a terrible matches, very dissapointing on serve, I expected Youzhny to win, but not so easy. Well, at least Ivo got to the 3rd round of a slam, good luck in the rest of the season

Strange tournament for Ivo, he broke serve 10 times in his 1st two matches and was broken 5 times in the last. Not a lot of aces. I really think the surface must have had an awful lot to do with this. At least he held his seed and made it to the round of 32 and it was a good player he ended up losing to. I'd be happy enough with 3rd round at French as well, but I'd like to see a deep run at Wimbledon this year. Next up is Marsailles and it's a really strong field. Thank goodness Ivo will be a top 8 seed.

Too bad even though he's our best player he won't play for the DC team
