Monfils and Djokovic are already ranked where you put them for the end of next year. I seriously doubt that none of them will improve...

So out of the three, you think that only Murray will show any improvement whatsoever?

Well, naturally. To borrow a phrase from dreaded Eurosport commentator Simon Reed, he is a bonnie wee fighter.

ROGER FEDERER: Yeah, I remember this one time when I went on a vacation on the Maldives. That was in the year 2001, I think. I went to this spa. I went to walk around with my girlfriend. I walk in, and we want to book a spa. This guy goes, "AHH, I remember you. You beat Sampras. I saw you on TV." That was like, really, how can you remember me? This guy has probably never been off his island and still knows me. I was a little bit shocked. Then I went to play tennis with him because he was actually the tennis teacher. It was nice.
Q. Were you naked at the time in the spa?
ROGER FEDERER: No. It was at the front desk. I didn't walk in naked.

Why does this here not make sense:

I definitely think Novak will be the highest out of the 3, say top 20 or higher maybe, I think Monfils will be around the same area, I say Murray will be around 30-40 area.

I'm saying Djokovic will stay largely where he is, Monfils will make a solid improvement and Murray will continue to rocket up the rankings.

Monfils will make a solid improvement by not moving in the rankings at all?

Why provide a range for your predictions? Optimism is cheap, so
Murray 1
Djokovic 82
Monfils 47

Re: 2006 predictions for the young hopefuls...
Hmm
In my logical order
1. Djokovic
2. Murray
3. Monfils
But I'm 100% with aj_m2009 Djokovic would be one of the best and very soon
I THINK!! Monfils has to work in his nerves

Re: 2006 predictions for the young hopefuls...
Djokovic is so devoid of talent I don't know why he is so popular on MTF, all the pundits are giving Murray the plaudits and the more they see him play the more optimistic their projections for his career. All I see in Djokovic is the potential for him to be a solid journeyman, his game is so unimaginative and forced that he is no different than the hundreds of other tennis factory kids. Murray is the only one that I can see that has the intangibles, the X-factor, call it what you will. The genetic offal of MTF clearly only appreciate greatness when it is in full bloom, and not whilst it is in growth. If you look at what some people here said about Federer before he broke through it is clear the average MFT denizen can't spot ability for shit.
