Re: <<Andy Roddick Winning Cheering Thread>>
Why don't you say it in English? Or why don't you just leave the thread and go cheer Mario or something if you don't have enough balls to talk in English in the thread of the player you detest most

Go for #1! Get ready for the strangle hold when
Roddick squeezes his competition dry. Sampras and Agassi could
use a lesson on how Andy bounces back from bad
times!

Do you know anything about tennis? How can you say that about Pete and Andre... let me remind you... Andre was out of sorts for a long time... dropping down below 200 in the rankings... he came back .. won a few majors...
Sampras ... had to wait over a year to win another tournament... 2002 US Open... his last one...
Let me remind you... Andy is still yet to win a GS.... dun talk about comeback... Andy has nothing to come back to... he's only starting.. he's 20 for crying out loud... he hasn't had any major setback to come back from.. YET...

Re: <<Andy Roddick Winning Cheering Thread>>
Oh, please! I was kidding. If you really think Andy hadn't
been thru a little hell at slams like the 2003 Australian Open and 2001 U. S. Open, YOU'RE mistaken. I wasn't trying to offend anyone, although I suspected someone would object.
Winning a slam involves many factors like:
how easy the draw is
matches duration
umpiring
experience on the surface
health
I don't need a lecture about how better a slam
winner is than other players. I just want to
see someone win consistently in different tourneys-
not just do well at slams.
There are only a few players who could beat the
top players, so when a draw has no tough foes,
the winner will have little problem. It's just
unfortunate to see all slam winners get treated like
equals in accomplishments, when it's obvious
that some have had easier times than others.

Ok.. I gotya... You meant 'COMEBACK' as in a match... or a tournament... I thought you meant... COMEBACK as in a career comeback...
