As previously reported Andre has already entered the if..Stockholm Open in Sweeden. Agassi has now confirmed he will be appearing at AMS Madrid and AMS Paris. According to the AMS Madrid webiste, Agassi has registered his commitment to play at the tournament for one last time. A tournament he won back in 2002 beating Jiri Novak:

Madrid, 19th of September, 2005 – The spectacle is about to beginning. The ATP has announced today the registration of Roger Federer, Rafa Nadal, Andy Roddick, Lleyton Hewitt,
Andre Agassi, Marat Safin, Mariano Puerta and all the best tennis players of the world in the fourth edition of the Masters Series Madrid, that will be celebrated from the 15th to the 23rd of October in the Madrid Arena of Casa de Campo and that will distribute more than 2.5 million Prizes. Tommy Robredo, David Ferrer, Juan Carlos Ferrero, Carlos Moya, and Feliciano López complete the list of the Spanish tennis players that have also got into directly in the main draw.
The season is coming to the end and there only remain three possibilities to the duel “Federer vs. Nadal”, the two best players of this season. The settings: Madrid, Paris or Shangai.
“We present the best list of participants that can be offered in a tournament of the tennis world by the fourth consecutive year. Roger Federer has proved this season to be the best N. 1. He has won 2 tournaments of the Grand Slam (Wimbledon and US Open), 4 Masters Series (Miami, Indian Wells, Hamburg, and Cincinnati), and has shown that can win on any surface. But Rafa Nadal is the only one who put in the shade to the Swiss and is being the sensation of the season. I am sure that in Madrid will give the best of himself before his spectators. Once more it is going to be an exceptional tournament with the possibility to see a new duel between Federer vs. Nadal”, said proudly Manolo Santana, Director of the Masters Series Madrid.
“I count on that once more the best of the world come. It is already known that we do not control the players injuries therefore we are working in the last details to offer the best possible organization”, adds Santana.
The biggest attractions will be with no doubt Rafa Nadal and Roger Federer. The Swiss is at the present the number one of the world but Rafa is one of the few that this year has been able to win him. “Although the Green Set of Madrid is not the most suitable surface for Nadal, I believe that he looks forward to come to play very much so this could make him to be a candidate to the triumph”, comments Manolo. “Besides, to have again the presence of Roger Federer, who possibly is the best tennis player in the history of this sport, is a luxury that the fans should not lose”.
But the list does not begin and finish in these two names. Without no doubt, we must count with Roddick, Coria, Davydenko, Safin, Gaudio, Puerta, Nalbandian, and the Spaniards David Ferrer, Juan Carlos Ferrero and Tommy Robredo that still have possibilities to be classified for the Masters Cup that will be disputed in China in November.
After his impressive performance in New York, the presence of Agassi will be again a mystery. “The spectators of Madrid have shown several times the admiration that feel for Agassi; I expect that when he considers his plans for the rest of the season, he will keep in mind coming once more to play. It would be a great honour for us”, comments Santana. The other doubt is regarding in the Australian Lleyton Hewitt who will be father by the end of year but that if he decides to fight for a position in the Masters Cup he will need in a vital way a good result in Madrid.
Among the Spaniards, it should be included David Ferrer and Tommy Robredo who very possibly will leave as heads of series and with the extra motivation of arriving at Shangai. We will closely follow the results of Juan Carlos Ferrero during the next weeks to see if he manages to scale some positions more so he can be placed among the 16 first, what would make him not to play in the first round. Who it seems that will not have so much luck is Carlos Moya that does not carry a very positive season, but he has always been very confident playing in the Madrid Arena. The list of Spaniards in the final draw is closed by Feliciano López, who almost plays at home.
Tickets still remain for the week; but they are sold out for the final weekend
Fans have still a good opportunity to assure seats for the week sessions. The success of the sale of tickets was shown when five days ago the notice of “tickets are sold out” for the semi-finals and final was hung. “We are really impressed. First the court boxes were sold out in April, and now having more than six weeks for the beginning of the tournament, do not remain any tickets for the final weekend. Furthermore, what is more important is that the fans still have a lot of possibilities to see tennis during the week and still there are tickets for all the sessions from Monday to Friday”, said Manolo Santana

AMS Madrid is played on Indoor Hard Court from 15th to 23rd October 2005.
And Andre has every intention of arriving in Paris, the scene of triumphs over Marc Rosset in 1994 and Marat Safin in 1999. Paris is played from 29th October to 6th November 2005 played on Indoor Carpet. Andre has skipped the last two years due to injury. He lost to Carlos Moya in the 2002 Quarter Finals 6-4 6-4 in a tense, heated battle. The race to Shanghai heats up and Andre is in the thick of things!
