Filippo falls 101 places in the rankings this week to 292 now that his challenger points from last year have come off.

Filippo has qualified for the Bucharest main draw with a 6-3 6-2 win over Kubot.

He'll play Koellerer in the first round though, which should be tough.

Obviously he won't play this week (could have played Napoli). I can't get in contact with anyone about a schedule unfortunately, like usual.

Hey, does anyone know what is happening with Pippo? I haven't seen him on any entry lists at all, and he stopped playing earlier than most anyone else. He should get back in the top 100 next year, seeing some mediocre players there gives me hope for him, and he has little to defend. I wish him the best!

Pippo made it past Massu and Cipolla, he plays Bagnis for a place in the Buenos Aires main draw. He should be able to win this one, but I don't want to jinx it.

BA Q3: Volandri def. Bagnis 6-3 6-0.

He'll play a very out of form Moya tomorrow. This could be the week to kick start a bit of a career resurgence. His section isn't horrible, but Gaston could definitely be dangerous in front of his home crowd (same for Zeballos I suppose).

Pippo lost to Moya in the first round after qualifying. Qualifying for back to back ATPs is a good start for him, but it's time for some wins so he can make the MD of the French.
