I'm happy with the cheering thread right now. We need a lot more active posters for a forum of Rainer.

Re: The Rainer Schuettler Cheering Thread
Finally Rainer won a close match But he still made some horrible mistakes, so I´m not optimistic yet.

It was pretty close in the end against Melzer, it came down to a couple of close line decisions that could have gone either way. I think that if Rainer had dropped serve in that last game, it would have been curtains for him (and a mini-nervous breakdown for me ), but he did ok in the end.
His first serve is really good, he was getting up to 200 kph at times. But he's so vulnerable on his second. When his first stops coming, he gets into trouble quite easily. That's something I'm sure he's working on.
Good luck in R2, Rainer

To be honest, i enjoy this little, cozy enviroment. The bigger the forum, bigger the trolls. I think we're a nice group *humble mode* *colective *

Congrats Rainer I´m so glad for him that he won that tough and close match!
Unfortunately I don´t have a scanner, otherwise I would post the InStyle pics here.

Re: The Rainer Schuettler Cheering Thread
well done, Rainer!
at least he won today, and this match wasn't easy!
BTW.... for those who watched it on Eurosport Germany, Babsi Schett co-commentated the match
It was very cool and Babsi seemed to cheer much more for Rainer than for her countryman And she said a lot of very nice things about him and that she enjoyed playing mixed doubles so much and that she was very impressed by his speed when he covered 75% of all the court in their doubles. And Rainer said "Hi Babs" to her when he saw her, and he hugged her, I believe, because they were saying something that "she was greeted in a very lovely way"
and they said much more things that I don't recall anymore... it was really fun to listen!
To me it really sounded as if Schett was very impressed by Rainer

Now, Feliciano Lopez. A tough player on these surfaces. Go Rainer
