Re: Florent Serra
Awful start of 2011 for Flo even if Brown is very special to play I'm wondering if one of the problem is not the coach situation. Well I hope he will find his game soon. Ha has not too many points to defend in the next weeks. A video on the atp site of the amtch vs Brown http://www.atpworldtour.com/Tennis/M...own-Serra.aspx

Re: Florent Serra
Flo lost to andujar first round of Casa and i don't see his name on entry list for next week it must mean it will be out of 100 in two weeks He has really bad start clay is generally good for him let's see what will happen in the next weeks.

Re: Florent Serra
Florent's results on clay are much better than on other surfaces so I expect some good results to start coming in for him, especially with this little break of play he's had. Should be rested and ready to go.

Re: Florent Serra
Hopefully whatever he's dealing with doesn't affect him in the upcoming challengers. He should be able to produce good results in these challengers with weaker draws.

Re: Florent Serra
Florent came back for the Prague challenger, and lost in the second round to Lacko. Now he's playing Bordeaux, his home town, and defends SF points. He has a good draw with a Q/LL in R1, so hopefully he can take advantage.

Re: Florent Serra
Florent made the QF in Bordeaux, losing to Robert 5-7 4-6. He's not playing Nice so his next event is RG. He needs to start winning more matches, he's already out of the top 100 and could be quite far out without a win or two at RG. Hopefully he can start playing better.

Re: Florent Serra
I read during Bordeaux challenger that his hip was bothering him and today it's confirmed. He gets the blues http://www.lequipe.fr/Tennis/breves2...-le-blues.html He says it's tough mentally this year he has no more the energy on court a lack of agressivity. He will play some challengers to go back in top 100 but he says level is high and we can understand that in a way that blues make him think about retirement even if he doesn't say it. Well he seems bad mentally that's why he thinks that for the moment let's see the next tournaments

Re: Florent Serra
Well, he's been playing like someone injured so this isn't a surprise to me. Hopefully this past week off has helped him some physically, but his mental state is even more damaged than his physical state it appears. I'm sorry he's sad, it must be tough to have to go back to challengers after being an ATP regular for so long. Hopefully he can start winning some matches and eliminates retiring anytime soon.

Re: Florent Serra
Florent qualified for Halle, winning three matches in two days. Today he beat German Dominik Meffert 6-2 3-6 6-3. Hopefully he can do something positive in the MD.
