Ya, but Schuettler hadn't ever played Roddick in the past before their Australia encounter did they? Neither did Canas and Roddick meeting up before their encounter last year. Not saying who will win, but Roddick and Nalbandian have met up before in this very same tournament. But of course it holds no water since Roddick just beat Federer in the semis and their past record would have "eliminated" that possibility.

Roddick beat Schüttler last year in Hamburg on clay in straight sets. Rainer then won the two hardcourt matches this year at the AO and Indian Wells.
