First round upsets
There will be more food for thouhgt when qualifiers are seeded. Which of the 32 seeds will most likely fall in the 1st round?

I think Verdasco has a very good chance of beating Henman (12)
Gimelstob has a reasonable chance of upsetting Mirnyi (30)
I'd love to think Dick Norman might beat Novak (23)
Depending on the qualifier, Mariano Puerta (10) might go.
Blake has a fair chance of beating Rusedski (28)
Those are the 5 seeds I'll go for, without knowing the qualifiers for others such as Ljubicic and Haas.

How 'bout Sharapova who will probably have trouble with Eleni Daniilidou in the 1st?
Or Roddick will be the one upset by Muller (if not, he'll be beaten by Ginepri in 2nd anyway).
I also love to see Albert Costa suddenly back to form & give Hewitt a big shock of his life!!
Bracciali, the Italian skillful "qualifier" has also a good chance to knock off Robredo (19) too, you'll see!

Roddick beaten by Muller? Muller doesn't stand a chance.
As for Genepri, hasn't Robby only beaten Andy ONCE, and that was when Andy was worn down and not ready to play? Andy will get to the QF atleast.

I'm happy to find someone who appreciate Daniele. Since Wimbledon I'm taking notice of him.
But just now I'm not so happy that Daniele meets my favorite Tommy in the 1st round. After tough Qualy-matches, I wish Daniele some more successful ones. I also think he would have a good chance to beat Tommy if he would be top fit. But I also wish Tommy good luck because he has to defend many points. Tommy must be top fit and play very careful in order to win the match. But he sometimes plays damned well. I don't know who should win... |

Lol bad gambler!  Poor Tim, he's slipped down the rankings a bit lately.
He was a shadow fo his former self, to quote one of the commentators. His back injury was so obvious.
Greg needed more luck I guess, just let it get away from him. |

Guga def. Goldstein...Not a huge surprise, but anyway. Goldstein couldn`t break Guga at all in the whole match!
