Sadly, it does. Even more if you consider how much hype they've created around it.

it irritates me so much how there are no live scores for alot of futures events and how long it takes to find out what happened in them. You've got places like germany and sweden who do offer live score for their futures events..countries should follow their examples.

I love to see Di Feo makes it to the next round just so he can face Dancevic and that should give him an idea of what it takes to make it to the top 100. He is still relatively young but it would be a great learning experience for him.

I don't know about you guys but I don't see Frank losing this tournament at all. There really isn't any competition is there?

depends on what frank shows up. I think frank is the fave by a mile to win

but possibly .. pospisil and maybe diez could stop him other than that no one.

If he plays like he did on sunday in the Davis Cup, then I agree.. He seemed solid. If he cotninues with this form then he should move up the rankings pretty quickly

LOOOL.. If you think that is bad, then I guess you haven't seen the Norwegian tennis federation's site. It is awful. The design is from the 90's. It is never updated and it's really difficult to find anything.

Anyway, good to hear it's a sunny day in T-town

They have reported a bit of rain for the next few days, though it's not looking too bad. I don't think there will be a lot of rain, so most matches should be finished I think

Maybe 4 or 5 if he wants to get more of a workout in.

It's the ITF's fault. They should make a requirement for all the Futures event to have live scores.

If Frank loses a match here, I'll be super worried.

I would be very surprised to see Frank lose to Pospisil. (1) I get the impression that Pospisil is somewhat in awe of the top Canadians who he must have looked up to as a junior; (2) Frank seems pretty sensitive to the need to assert his place in the pecking order when playing other Canadians, so I bet he would pull out all the stops in such a match.

Regarding the juniors, Peliwo won 1st round qualies and then gave a walkover - likely injury. They have the junior davis cup thingy coming up next week, so if he had a slight twinge he would no doubt have been told not to take any risks. Nguyen has pulled out of everything since he defaulted in the Canadian U18 in August - I am guessing that he was given a cooling off period, or forced to stop playing as a punishment. I had been wondering whether he had just got fed up with tennis and thrown it all over, but he is signed up for the G3 beginning October in Montreal, so the former explanation seems more likely.

i'd be stunned to and im not saying i want it to happen..nor do i expect it too; Frankly he should win this

but if frank were to lose to someone and not win here than vasek would be the only one i could accept. But as you said he seems to be in awe of frank, peter and even milos
