Mariano's Adventures in New York City
Here is a link to Mariano's part of the draw at the US Open. His draw looks OK - qualifier in the first round and then either Wawrinka or Ram in the 2nd round. Good Luck Mariano

Re: Mariano's Adventures in New York City
I hope he does the best he can! And Daniel, don't forget that it isn't the same Mariano that will start that USO...

Re: Mariano's Adventures in New York City
The qualifying rounds have now been completed, and we now know that Mariano's fiirst round opponent will be Noam Okun from Israel. I don't know too much about this guy apart from the fact that he is supposed to have excellent, big groundstrokes, and I believe he plays a lot of doubles too. He certainly has lots of experience though has never really made it to the big time.
GOOD LUCK MARIANO!

Re: Mariano's Adventures in New York City
Mariano won. The score was 7-6, 6-7, 6-4, 6-0. Looks like Okun played well but just ran out of steam at the end - well done anyway to Mariano and good luck in the next round.
