Re: Nico Does New York, New York
That was one incredible match - I think we should all be proud of Nico for the way he played and fought tonight. I'm certainly very proud of him for getting to the 4th round and doing so well - just sad that he had to lose to "El Tramposo" of all people One day someone will do serious damage to Coria for his antagonistic attitude towards his opponents................OK - rant over - I admit I don't like Coria though he is a great player, so it hurts even more that Nico had to lose to him of all people! Anyway - this is Nico's Forum - so just to say - well done again to him and to Gaby for the tremendous work they've already done in their few short weeks back together. Good Luck for the rest of the season to both of them. And NicoFan .............. I know you'll be really sad right now, but try and remember the good memories and the good times of this years US Tour OK - time for me to go to bed now - it's late here for now.

Re: Nico Does New York, New York
So sorry Nico lost but proud of how well he played too. So happy the fighting Nico is back. I'm sure its no consulation right now that he played well even tho he lost, but with some perspective I hope he sees he's done well at the USO. Good job Nico! You Rock!!!
And I missed the 2nd half of the match and don't know exactly what happened b/t him and Coria but knowing Coria it was bogus. Does the guy have any friends in the ATP????? Too bad he and Hewitt don't get along becasue they seem to be two of a kind.

Coria is such a drama queen ... I don't care what he said with his big mouth
I'm very happy and proud of Nico, I always thought that Coria will win in 3 sets so this was such a great surprise, especially in the 3rd set when Nico was 1-4* down and fought for the set
I love you my boy!!!

Re: Nico Does New York, New York
Nico didn't fake his injury- I was there, and you could see him cramping up. And right from the beginning he was having problems - kept stretching - I've watched a lot of his matches - and he's never done that before. Something with his leg was bothering him. And he was tired by the 4th set - he doesn't have a lot of match play this year - and it seemed by the 4th set that he had run out of adrenline for awhile - and it wasn't hot hot but it wasn't cool out there today either.
