Yeah, the last round against Paire was an impressive result. he seems to have been playing ok in the last few weeks, lots of qualifications into main events, but this could be a decent run for him to get back in the top 400. Another win should about do it.

Boris did indeed win his SF against Haider-Maurer, very comfortably too. He lost a tight two settter in the final to Starace, but has gone up nearly 150 places. Chance for him, at least, to get into a position where he's not needing to qualify for challengers with another good run.
Plays Palermo this week, he's got an evening match to start, today against Knittel.

Most impressively, he's just beaten top seed Phau in the first round in Rome, which is a terrific result for him against a player ranked close to the 100.

Guido was a guy with 3 challenger titles on clay this year Campinas Manta and Salinas ad a couple of other good results !!!
