Yeah, I just want Nico to relax, get his rhythm back and enjoy playing tennis again. I think the rest will fall into place then. to Gaby for coaching Nico again!

Yup - New Haven is only about 1 1/2 hour on the train from NYC.
I'm going to go Saturday to see Nico, Fena (if he goes), and others practice, and then whenever Nico, Fena, and Fer Verdasco play.
More pictures! lol!
About Gaby coaching - when I saw him come into Nico's match against Henman, I had a feeling that a deal had been made. And then when I read it was a done deal on the internet, I wanted to just give Gaby a huge hug when I saw him ... but I refrained...lol!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
And what's strange is that Nico seems so relaxed in practice - its when he steps on to the court that everything seems to fall apart - no confidence. And its so sad, becauase he's such a great player, he should be confident all the time.

Re: New Beginnings in New Haven for Nico
Hi all I don't come to MTF much lately because I have a lot of stuff going on in my life right now - but just wanted to say "hello" to you all and to wish Nico all the best in New Haven and in his relationship with his new coach I hope his work with Gaby will be the start of a whole new and successful phase in his life and career. NicoFan - have fun on your tennis trips.

Re: New Beginnings in New Haven for Nico
Here's the draw - not bad for Nico. Only looking to the 2nd round - just one win here would be nice. Mello can be tough but Nico should feel more comfortable facing another clay courter than a serve and volleyer like Tim. Though it could be a qualifier - one never knows.

Re: New Beginnings in New Haven for Nico
BTW - went to New Haven yesterday - had fun but didn't see Nico - he must have practiced really late or really early before 9:00 when I got there.
Because its not very fan-friendly - can't see the practice courts and had to take pictures through a 3 inch opening in the gate - I'm only going back for Nico's 2nd round match. Hopefully he'll be on the grandstand or regular courts so I can get good pictures. Shouldn't be on the main stadium if he's playing Mello.

It's a shame that you didn't see Nico yesterday NicoFan, but don't worry you'll see him that's for sure! and hopefully you'll see him in his first win in hard courts and with Gaby back! yeaay!!
btw don't forget your assignment and DON'T LOOK DOWN!! lol! I told you that it would be better for you if I wouldn't be here too lol!
