He must have a wildcard. (last year they gave one to Djokovic so it would not be that surprising if Murray got one)
Qualifying Sat/Sun Tournament Mon/Sun.
Unless there is something weird about Bangkok.
But then again, what do I know?

I suspect Murray may not be playing. Despite all the talk coming out of the Murray camp about playing in the far east, there is one wildcard left and Danai Udomchoke must surely get it given he is the local player. Still an outside possibility that Danai might get in directly if enough players withdraw but I doubt they would be prepared to take the risk of him missing out.
I guess because Safin is injured they put up the money to get Hewitt and gave him the wildcard that Murray had anticipated getting.

Re: Entry Lists
If Federer plays in Bangkok,it 's very difficult for Hewitt to take this title.

I certainly hope it's not true because the doctor told him on Monday to rest his elbow for 10 days...

He just said he wasn't confirming that he was playing anything, that's all.

I'm not. From the entry list, they're obviously offering mega appearance fees, and Thailand is a much shorter trip for Lleyton than anything in Europe. And it's early enough so that it won't conflict with the birth.

Re: Entry Lists
Gasquet confirms Thai Open appearance
Published on September 17, 2005
[TENNIS] French teenager Richard Gasquet is the latest star player to be added to the field for the US$550,000 Thailand Open ATP tournament beginning next Saturday at the Impact Arena, Muang Thong Thani. The 19-year-old giant-killer is one of only three people, including Marat Safin and Raphael Nadal, to have defeated world No 1 Roger Federer this year.
Gasquet turned professional in 2002 and has jumped to number 12 in the world rankings after a string of great performances this year. He claimed his maiden title on grass in England’s Nottingham tournament in June.
Thai tennis fans might be lucky to see a rematch between the French teenager and Federer who is returning to the Kingdom to defend his crown. Other big names appearing in the tournament are Australian Lleyton Hewitt, Briton Tim Henman, Tommy Haas of Germany and US Open semi-finalist Robby Ginepri of the United States.
Chaiyapak Siriwat, chairman of the Thailand Open Organising Committee, said world number 12 Gasquet was one of the hottest young players in the world

I have to agree with you there. And IMO, it would be good for his ranking too. How many of the smaller tourneys did Lleyton play this year? 3? He has to play atleast 2 more if he wants to get ahead of Andy in the entry ranking.
