Surely he can't be playing the qualifying tournament as he is in the Davis Cup match v Swiss 23 -25 Sept? If he gets straight on a plane from Switzerland with Federer who is also playing in Bangkok he still won't make qualifying. The best he can hope to arrive is Monday.
He must have a wildcard. (last year they gave one to Djokovic so it would not be that surprising if Murray got one)
Qualifying Sat/Sun Tournament Mon/Sun.
Unless there is something weird about Bangkok.
But then again, what do I know?

... its good he is playing, but i think he shouldve entered the Vietnam open instead... much weaker field and more likely to do really well.
