Re: Doubles Entry
I hear Nabredo (Nadal/Robredo) are signed up to play again in Cincy.
Glad to see Massu/Gonzalez on the list - they were quite entertaining last year!

Good job! I was actually out watching tennis (in Washington) all last week, so I'm glad you & patrik 77 (who volunteered to do the challengers last week) were able to fill in.

Are you sure? Because when I was talking to Gonzo's coach Horatio in Montreal this week (Thursday), he said that Gonzo was definitely playing doubles in Cincy. So unless something has changed since then, he should be playing.
OOPS!! Just saw the draw and you are right. So something must have changed since Thursday.

And I hope they're not signed up. I don't think they should be allowed to enter after pulling out like they did in Montreal. I was sitting in my seat waiting for their match with the Bryans when the chair ump announced that Nabredo was a no show - lots of dissappointed fans were left sitting there. And based on the locker room gossip, the withdrawal had nothing to do with an injury.

Re: Doubles Entry
of course it wasn't an injury, everyone knows that. He pulled simply to save his energy for the singles matches. This is why the top players shouldn't be playing doubles. Let the best doubles players play doubles and help people learn who they are. It's called MARKETING!

Horacio took this decision because he said that Gonzo likes to play at night and without playing doubles he has more chances of playing late and he also wants Feña to focus only in singles at least for Cincy
