Thanks!
How do you pronounce yi, er, san, si, wu, liu, qi, (ba) (not too hard to guess lol!) jiu, and shi?
u= the French "ou" right?
shi = chi?
qi = ki? etc...

It's like the 'sh' in 'shop'. The 'i' in this case is like the 'e' in 'ne'.

'Q' is like the 'ch' in 'chair' except with less emphasis on the 'h'.

 Cool Cool
There's no need to be ashamed of your level though because German is such a hard language to learn. Es gibt keinen Grund Dich wegen Deinem Level zu schämen weil Deutsch eine schwere Sprache zu lernen ist.

Sorry for the bad descriptions! It's difficult to describe with words how to pronounce a word.

 How do you pronounce the 'r' in German? I've heard different pronunciations of it. Some roll the 'r', some pronounce it like the French 'r' and some do it very deep in the throat almost like a 'h'.

Something like that. It's difficult to describe. There isn't really a French equivalent.

I tend to roll the 'r' a lot but the ways of pronouncing it vary from region to region.

I'd like to know that too...J'aimerais savoir ça aussi...
And i never remember when you put a capital letter at the beginning of a word too...
Et je ne me rapelle jamais quand il faut mettre une majuscule au début d'un mot aussi...

Ensuite il dit juste qu'il parle mieux Anglais que Mandarin...On n'a pas encore la preuve qu'il essaye par cette indication de se défiler pour nous enseigner sa langue... Surtout que c'est pas un niveau astronomique que ça demande pour nous faire tous débuter, n'est-ce pas?
Then, he's only saying that he speaks better English than Mandarin...We don't have the proof that he's trying, by mentioning this detail, that he's cowardly trying to sneak out and say he can't teach us his language...
Especially since it wouldn't require an astronomical level to make us debut, would it?

Like in Bayern, right?
Comme en Bavière, n'est-ce pas?
I think the German-speaking Alsacians do it too...
Je crois que les Alsaciens qui parlent Allemand le font aussi...
