So it depends what everyone here wants

This sounds like the right idea, Rose. The only problem is the original thread starter hasn't posted since 2005. If one of us could change the title per tournament (or Carlita if she has the time), that would make the most sense because the fan base is just building. Maybe change the thread for now to "Soderking Takes London: Chat and Cheering thread" just for now and then change it when Chennai rolls around on January 4th?
I follow Robin on twitter and his tweets for"congrats" on victories we're routinely around 5-10. However, after his victory over Rafa and Nole this week, his "Congrats" we're in the hundreds....amazing! And as we saw this week, people are starting to post blogs and upload tribute videos to Robin on YouTube. But right now, the core fan base is still growing and the bandwagon has plenty of room.

Re: soderling
Finally a new forum. Yes, the name has to change in this thread. soderling is not a good name for a cheering thread. Wouldn't it be best if those who have the imagination suggest names? Sodal's suggestion is nice imo.

Thanks, SweTennis. I think "Soderking Takes London: Chat and Cheering Thread" is pretty simple and direct for the last two days of the tourney. He has already been the major surprise of the tournament knocking out the #2 and #3 seeds in straight sets in consecutive matches. I'm open to any ideas, and I would be happy to PM Carlita with our decision if that sounds ok to everyone.
For CloudyGirl's thead on his 2010 schedule, does anyone have any inside information other than him playing Chennai and the AO? I've looked all over the place and am not finding anything. Other fans of players, like Nole and Rafa fans, get the schedules from the official site organizers but there there is no official Soderling web site although I've heard plans are being made to release one soon.

Re: soderling
OMG!!! I've been so consumed in this and have had so little faith in Kolya beating Fed, that I just noticed Kolya defeated Fed in three sets for the first time! So if Robin could just take out Del Pony tonight and get a rematch with Kolya (he is still 6-4 and 3-2 for this year), that would be sweet!!!
What a shock! Kolya's 12 match losing streak to Fed comes to an end!! And on a day when the putrid organizers only gave him 14 hours to recuperate too! So Robin would not have to play a super rested Fed on Sunday. Kolya has to be pretty tired too.

Re: soderling
Wow, can't believe he finally got a forum. I'm not one to usually post in fan forums but I might as well start posting here seeing how difficult it was to get it.

Re: soderling
I like Tim's suggestion for the thread title name too I'm sure Carlita wouldn't mind changing the title now and again. She's always very helpful.

Re: soderling
Well, i'm actually quite worried for tonights match since i fear DelPos power, i really really hope that Söderling has the strength to fight through this but i'm very doubtful :/ such a shame that Murray didn't get thourgh since i fancy Robins chances alot higher against him rather than DelPo. But you can't change anything so i have to hope that Söderling comes out guns blazing and get to this final now!
