We don't care where or how you do it, just beat Nadal and bring back a title already!
And to do it without torturing us with insanely close matches.

Whats his record against Nadal?
If his groundstrokes are on he can beat anyone on clay.

he has a chance of beating nadal. juan was once number 1 so if he puts his mind to it he'd be able to beat anyone... possibly even federer. im not sure bout his record against nadal but you'd be able to find it maybe on the ATPtennis site.

I don't doubt his greatness, I just wish he'd give Nadal an ass-whipping already and show who the real King of Clay is again.

I hope so.... *thinks* I hope the Hardcourt season is good for Juan Carlos.
Huhhh. Tommy lost to Rafa as well. Darn.
Does anyone else think Rafa will run out of gas next year, like JC did last year?

Erm... I don't call what happened to JC "running out of gas" ... but that's not important.
I think Rafa is heading towards an injury. He needs to take a week off. He's playing practically every week and getting to the finals of every tournament he plays. If I were Rafa I'd rest a little, practice on hard courts a little to prepare for the summer hard court Masters events and not be entering every tiny clay court even in Europe. They're only raising his Optional event column very small amounts, and it's not worth it. Next year he is going to have about a billion points to defend, week in week out and THAT is going to be the toughest part for Rafa no matter how fit he is or whether or not he "runs out of gas". His lefty topspin will no longer be new. Eventually people will start to get used to it, and that's why 2006 will be tougher for him, I think.

Yeah, I think Rafa will find it hard next year. He will have a lot to live up to.

I'd like to know what you think happened to JC. I think it was a mixture of exhaustion and injuries.
