Re: Alan Mackin
According to the live scoring, Alan just served a 191mph bomb.. Congratulations on the record!
Glitches are expected as the equipment warms up...but that shouldn't take away from Alan's achievment though

Re: Alan Mackin
Excellent week for Alan!
I read he had spent the winter training at Pat Etcheberry's camp. Pat has trained Justine Henin and Pete Sampras so maybe the effects are paying off already.
Lapentti in the first round of the Australian is definitely winnable. Tough, but a chance

Definitely not out of the question. I think also he has worked a little with Mike Raphael, Boggo's coach.

Re: Alan Mackin
Seems reasonable. In any case, I agree it's a good first round match.

more than a little, alan and boggo are pretty much training together now (which will hopefully benefit them both) with mike full time, they spent about a month in the florida at addlebrooks training just before xmas, so that really seems to have helped alan, he has strated the year on fire, just a shame boggo didnt too.
top 100 is definalty possible with a lot of hard work and self belief, but of the two i still think alex has the potential to go higher.
