Re: Italian Tennis
Tennisteen is great in that way I just transfer it in a more summarised way onto here Super Fabio does much better work than me in all the challenger and future threads where he posts the results every day.

why did they chose greenset for the Davis Cup tie against Luxembourg
mid of european clay season, most of italian play better on clay and they choose a hard court? very weird

Re: Italian Tennis
Is the match in Italy? And they choose a hard court? Muller, luxembourg's best player is most effective on this court too. Strange decision. I wonder who will be chosen now. Probably Bolelli and Starace will play our ties.

Re: Italian Tennis
Indeed just saw the squad is Bolelli, Seppi, Starace and Bracciali. So I would guess Starace and Bolelli to play singles and Bracciali-Bolelli(or Seppi) for doubles. We should win 2 singles for sure and then probably 1 against Muller and maybe the doubles too.

Re: Italian Tennis
it's not a problem winning, in whichever surface Luxembourg shouldnt be a problem. It's a question of helping the players. They are all playing clay courts this period and switching from clay to hard and then clay again looks stupid
unless Seppi, Bolelli and Bracciali will play on american hard courts after the DC tie but I doubt it

Re: Italian Tennis
I really should know this, but why does Pippo choose not to play DC?

Re: Italian Tennis
Naso and Arnaboldi at the semis of Genova after some terrific results.
Arnaboldi has def. Bolelli in R2 and now Di Mauro in the QF 62 16 75
Naso has def. Berlocq in the QF 64 64.
Great results from the two, both still very young. Cipolla another Italian into the SF beating Navarro Pastor

Re: Italian Tennis
Naso into the final against Cipolla. Impressive win against Ramirez Hidalgo. This is a major breakthrough for Naso.

Re: Italian Tennis
Cipolla beat Naso in 3 in the final. Great run from Gianluca in this tournament! Top 350 I think now.
