I was surprised to see Zeballos play this well and clutch, although Pella remains a really underwhelming player. Even two time violations and a BP while serving for the match couldn't stop him. First QF since Umag in July, where he will play Haas or Starace.
I'll also be really worried if MalvinLuisandy doesn't show up in this thread either, since he already missed the R1 thread.

Federer, Nadal and Djokovic pander to plutocrats and charge huge appearance fees. The "trickle down effect" means that tournaments like the Heineken Open now have to pay appearance money for racketeers that many of us have never heard of. It's close to extortion.
At the end of Federer's first round match at the Australian Open a fawning interviewer asked about his kids and if he had bought coach Stefan Edberg a birthday present - no, by the way, the privilege of knocking up with 'King Roger' was enough of a present apparently.
Needed to defend some Acapulco points this week and did it. Still will lose some if he doesn't win next round. The ranking might get a little ugly but after this he has 100 points to defend in 5 months. So hopefully he'll get back to the Top 100 soon.
