Default In honor of Mahut, the record for most tourn. won without dropping a set

I've been adding on to this list for a few months now and was going to bust it out today since I thought Nadal was going to win Bastad without dropping a set. In any case, he has still done it twice this year, and Federer has done it 3 times this year, twice in TMS events no less. The list is only a partial list as I couldn't possibly look up everyone who ever won a title so feel free to add to it. There are other complications when comparing like the fact that most tournaments in the 70's and 80's had a best of 5 final format and some tournies had best of 5 for the SF and the F. You also have a lot of tournaments won while only winning 3 or 4 matches in the old WCT formats. You also players who won many tournaments before 1970 when the ATP database starts keeping track. You also have some tourny data missing in 1972-73. In any case, here is the list. Enjoy!!

It seems that Gaudio has been left off this list. He won Barcelona 2002 without losing a set.

Thanks GWH. I stopped looking up results after Krickstein because I knew there were probably a dozen or more that I have missed that others would find.

Agassi's record is amazing. I always thought that Andre was the best at making bad to middle players look bad whenever I watched him waltz through the draw at the AO or Miami. If anyone plays chess, he reminds me of Alexander Morozevich in his ability to completely flatten foes of a lesser class. But when he has to face someone of equal ability(a fellow hall of famer) he always comes up a little short. This detail has always frustrated me as an agassi fan whenever I watch him play Sampras, Federer, Rios, Lendl, etc.

Excellent post. This has been especially true after AA has changed up his formerly high-risk game to one where he wears his opponents down. NObody beats up on journeymen like AA. Him and Lendl gave out beatdowns to lesser foes like no others.
