According to the itftennis junior site, because of its loss against Cilic at the Osaka open, he seems to think he hasn't got chances to finish number one junior, which is not right just tougher...

Perhaps he just believes he doesn't deserve this title since he's been beaten a couple of time by Cilic or/and that french interclubs are more formative and lucrative
