Re: Jeremy Chardy
No Gilles & Jim in the doubles entry list of Madrid. I wanted to cheer them to their first win in doubles!

Are you going to Madrid? Not a single Frenchie playing doubles there. Looks like an outright attack in singles.

Re: Jeremy Chardy
I'll be in Madrid from Saturday to Tuesday, but I don't know exactly when I will go to the tournament since my friend will be there too and we also want to visit Madrid. (I hope they will still have tickets... :-/ I don't manage to buy tickets online anyway!)

I know you like watching qualies, but in Madrid they are not particularly interesting, too many Spaniards.

He won a double match (but he was not playing with Gilles)

Re: Jeremy Chardy
He couldn't tank this time, playing with this Cerretani guy who lives on his results in doubles.
If they badly needed it, I'm sure they would win a few matches with Gilles too.

I don't think I will see much from the qualies, but the entry list isn't that bad! And Petzsche is enough to make me happy.

Re: Jeremy Chardy
6/4 5*/4 30/0 and Kiefer manages to break back (Jeremy served a DF on BP)

Re: Jeremy Chardy
6/4 7/6. Some ugly things during the TB but a win is a win. He will need to play better to beat Cilic though. First match at pro level between them, but they were great rival during junior years.

Off topic, but around 12:25, the speaker speaks about French players; the pronouciation of Gael Monfils is really funny, jaël

Re: Jeremy Chardy
Oh, I was wondering the other day if you had stopped posting here, Karine.
I had missed that part (I watch tennis with the sound off most of the time), the list is totally random! He's talking about the French players ahead of Jérémy in the rankings in 2008, mentions Devilder for some reason and forgets Richard and Paulo.

Re: Jeremy Chardy
I was in holidays, in the middle of nowhere (La Lozere to give you an idea )
And I missed nothing from the performance of Gillou apparently.
Now you mentioned it, it is true, I remembered and got surprised he was talking about Devilder but the pronouciation of Gael already put my attention out.
(Anyway the sound on this video is not nice as there is 1 or 2s gap between sound and image)
By the way, jeremy is playing today in the doubles.
