Here's the French version, it will be better than my summary.

I don't know how to say that in English).
The story of the "painful toe" doesn't seem to convince anybody. Forget said his general condition was "affected". He wanted to feel a rebellion coming from Richie and realized "very soon" on Saturday evening he couldn't rely on him. "There was a huge question mark". He doesn't want to comment the fact it is worrying he feels so worn out after one tough match. "I can't answer this question", Forget says.
Richie doesn't want to comment it further either: "I wasn't in the right 'mood'. At one time, you had to be realistic and honest.
Ah, be "honest and realistic": who of you would have made a rebellion after having lost a 5 hours five-setter not playing well and knowing it?

It was not so much a question of being worn out physically, but Richard in his (undoubted) honesty knew that he had failed to deliver, not necessarily result-wise (there is no shame in losing to Youzhny), but how this defeat came about. He seemed to have been very aware about his bad performance and team player that he is (for good or bad) he "withdrew". One can blame him for that, coming up with all that mentality stuff, lacking toughness, limited confidence, etc. etc. or accept his loyality to the team, that he would never fight for his personal objectives in DC, in particular against his friends Grosjean or Monfils in the future.
