Re: How many gran slam single titles do you think roger will win?
Wow, I am surprised that most people think that he can win more than Sampras. Sampras' tally happens once in a blue moon. As much as I am a fan of Federer, I think it is near impossible for Federer to reach 14 grand slams let alone surpass it. Ofcourse, if he does it, I will be overjoyed but about 10 seems a more realistic estimate.

I think Federer will be the biggest winner in history. He's on pace for it.

Re: How many gran slam single titles do you think roger will win?
Federer is not on pace at the moment to surpass Sampras . By the end of 95 , Pete had 7 slams and Roger needs to win the next two slams to have 6 by the end of this year . I think if he stays committed and motivated he could win 10-12 slams but I don't see any player capturing more than 14 slams . He will need to win 11 more slams in a 5 or 6 year period which is unlikely .

Roger has a good five to ten years left in the game. If he does continue to produce the same results (which may or may not happen-injuries, you know, can creep in the mix), he can indeed surpass Sampras.

Re: How many gran slam single titles do you think roger will win?
I think 12 would be realistic given no great injuries

Re: How many gran slam single titles do you think roger will win?
personaly i reckon 10,11. i would love it so much if he suprassed pete. but thats gonna be extremly hard with the depth in mens tennis. but i reckon if he wins 11 with a fo then he will go down as the greatest tennis player in history simple because of the way he plays the game and the amount of natural talent he has and shot making ablilty.

Re: How many gran slam single titles do you think roger will win?
Its all up to Federer.Dont forget that Pete had a big serve, i thought he had the best serve i have ever seen.He would win alot of free points with aces.
I do think he will win at least 10 being the least.I think his serve can be better, in terms of throwing up aces.

Federer will not be playing in ten years, he will retire at 30 or something like it. And he won't be able to produce the same results inside 2-3 years

If he won the French Open together with 11 slams he will be one of the greatest, but the way he plays the game is irrelevant
